4 minutes of a consulting company performing the big number from The Greatest Showman in full costume, on the patterned carpet of a hotel ballroom, at an Oracle technology conference, with the confetti already down before anyone starts singing. I am the Bearded Lady. I'd rather say that at the top than have you work it out on your own around the 90 second mark. (Edward, you were running an Oracle consulting firm at the time, with a booth to staff and a pipeline to close, and you spent part of that conference in a beard and a costume, and now, years later, you have gone and put the footage on your own website. Nobody is making you do this.)
A note on the year
interRel posted this as Kscope17. Kscope17 ran June 25 to 29 of 2017, and This Is Me wasn't released until October 26 of that year, so one of those two things is wrong and it isn't the song. My guess is Kscope18. For a show whose entire thesis is that the outcasts were right all along, staging it for a ballroom of Essbase administrators was either the perfect audience or a cry for help, and I have never been able to decide which.
This is the second musical number on this site. Most consulting firms manage zero, and I'm aware that clearing that bar twice says more about me than it does about the firms. The other one runs 58 minutes and has an Aquaman in it, so by the standards of this archive, 4 minutes of me in a beard is the restrained entry.
If you were in that ballroom and you remember which year you watched your consulting vendor perform a circus number at you, Edward@Roske.AI. I would genuinely like to know!
